Six Ways to Spend Your Extra Hour

What should you do with your extra hour today?

It’s time to move back those clocks. It may be getting darker earlier, but the good news is you’ll have an extra hour today to spend on yourself (spend it on yourself, you work too hard not to). Not sure what to do with this gift of time though? Well read on!

Everybody loves a good nap, and even if you don’t want to admit it, you probably need it. Sleep can come at a premium when you’re busy all day every day. Taking your extra hour to catch up on some Zs can be quite refreshing.

Go for a bike ride

You loved your bike as a kid, but when was the last time you actually went for a bike ride. Unless it’s a real passion, it’s probably been a while. Using your extra hour to go for a calm and relaxing bike ride, or a grueling race depending on who you are, can be an excellent way to use the day’s extra hour.

Read a magazine

Everybody has a subscription to a magazine that they don’t have time to read. Now that nature has afforded you a free hour, why not catch up on some reading. You might learn something.

Draw something

Almost all of us had an artist in them at some point when we were kids. Use your extra hour to bring that back and draw something cool. Think you stink at drawing? Who cares? As long as you enjoy it.

Go for a walk

There’s no better way to just unwind and clear your head of all the stuff that’s going on than to take a walk. Now you’ve got time to take that walk. Bring your dog if you got and just forget all the craziness of the day-to-day.

Discover time travel

Technically, this process will take a lot longer than an hour. If you succeed though, a quick use of your invention will make it appear as though that’s all it took.

Whatever you do, don’t forget to roll back that clock so you actually get that extra hour!
