Hiring Steps

We’re not just hiring—we’re building something amazing, and we want you in on it. Our interview process is designed to be thoughtful, welcoming, and provide you with an unparalleled experience. You’ll meet passionate people, learn what makes Second Nature unique and show us what makes you a standout. Let’s find out if we’re a perfect match.

1. Submit application

Found a position you like? Fill out your application, and we’ll notify you once it’s received.

2. Initial screening

If your application is selected, a recruiter will reach out to schedule a quick chat. We’ll cover who we are, what we do, and why this role rocks. It’s also your chance to ask any burning questions!

3. Team interviews

Next, you’ll have video interviews with 3-4 team members (depending on the role). We’ll dive into your skills, experience, and how you’d add to our culture. For certain roles,
you might even be asked to
complete an exercise..

4. Reference checks

If all goes well, we’ll ask for 2 or 3 previous supervisors who we can talk with about your previous experience and accomplishments. Think of it as your personal highlight reel!

5. Offer extension

Now it’s official! Once references check out, we’ll extend a verbal job offer, followed by a written offer letter with all the details—start date, compensation, benefits, and more.

6. Onboarding

After signing, you’ll complete a background check and receive details to submit employment documents. Before your first day, we’ll send everything you need to hit the ground running—training schedules, policies, and tech setup info.

AI First

Using AI: We believe AI can be a powerful tool to help you prepare—whether that’s practicing interview questions, researching our company, or even crafting a great presentation. 
 
That said, using AI during live interviews—such as having it generate code or feed you answers in real-time—is strictly against our process. We use systems to detect this kind of misuse, and if it's identified, we’ll remove you from consideration.
